96 well fixed clear microplate

Streptavidin coated microassay plate: 96 wells, individually wrapped. The wells are coated to a 100μl depth and are supplied pre-blocked to 200 µl depth and ready to use.

The following protocol is a simple direct ELISA protocol and the protocol and reagents used will have to be optimized for specific applications and assays.

 

1. Optionally wash the wells to be used with PBS buffer or an appropriate buffer of choice. 

2. Dilute biotinylated molecule with PBS buffer containing or an appropriate dilution buffer of choice and add 100μl diluted sample to each well. For optimal performance titration of coating concentrations is recommended. For biotinylated proteins 0,2-5 µg/ml is recommended, for biotinylated peptides, oligonucleotides and small organic molecules 10-100 pM/ml is recommended.

3. Incubate at room temperature for 1-2 hours with shaking.

4. Wash each well three times with 300 μl  wash buffer. 

5. Add 100 μl enzyme labelled primary antibody (for horseradish peroxidase conjugated antibodies 0,05-0,5 µg/ml is recommended. 

6. Incubate at room temperature for 0.5-1 hour with shaking. 

7. Wash each well three times with 300 μl wash buffer

8. Detect the label signal with appropriate substrate.

Store unopened at 2 – 28 °C. Once opened the plates can be stored in the resealable bag with desiccant.
